Stage 2 – Tamarron Drought Contingency Plan

Continued drought conditions in our area have caused the need for Fort Bend County MUD 182 to institute Stage 2 of its Drought Contingency Plan. To ensure that an adequate supply of water is available for drinking, bathing and emergency fire-protection, you are hereby notified of the MANDATORY water use restrictions set forth below.  Violation the MANDATORY restrictions set forth below may be punishable as a misdemeanor resulting in monetary fines.

The following steps are MANDATORY at this time:

  1. Irrigation of landscaped areas from automatic sprinkler systems or hose end sprinklers is limited to the following days only:
    • Addresses ending in even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) – Sundays and Thursdays only
    • Addresses ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) – Saturdays and Wednesdays only
    • Such irrigation is further limited to between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. and only allowed on watering days as designated above.
  1. Landscaped areas can be watered anytime using a handheld hose, a faucet filled bucket or a watering can of 5 gallons or less.These are MANDATORY use restrictions. Your cooperation is sincerely appreciated.
