Continued drought conditions in our area have caused the need for Fort Bend County MUD 182 to institute Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan.
The following steps are voluntary at this time.
Please limit landscaped areas irrigation from automatic sprinkler systems or hose end sprinklers to the following days only:
- Addresses ending in even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) – Sundays and Thursdays only
- Addresses ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) – Saturdays and Wednesdays only Please only irrigate between 12:00 midnight until 10:00 a.m. and between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight on designated watering days.Landscaped areas can be watered anytime using a handheld hose, a faucet filled bucket or a watering can of 5 gallons or less.
Residents are requested to practice water conservation and minimize or discontinue water use for non-essential purposes.
